Correct actions require Team Work

Both the Emergency Service District (ESD1) and the East Lake Volunteer Fire Department (ELLVFD) work together to support and protect our communities. Our commitment and loyalty is to God, to one another and to others that live around us.

Business Meetings

Board of Directors Meetings

We hold our Board of Directors Meetings on the second Tuesday of each month, 6:00 pm, located at: 262 LCR 892 Jewett, Texas 75846. Agendas for each meeting are posted a few days in advance of each meeting. You can find these on the Public Documents page. 



Can I attend these meetings? Yes...The public is welcome to attend all open meetings. Closed meetings are for board members only and the public can not attend.


How can I tell what the past meetings were about? You can find approved minutes of each meeting, with exception to closed meetings, on the Public Documents page. All files are downloadable or can be read online.


How will I know if the meeting is canceled? All cancellations and postponements will be posted in the Announcements section of this website. Please check at least a day before attending any meeting or contact the board for confirmation.

The East Lake Limestone VFD and the Limestone County EDS #1 Provide fire and rescue services to the eastern geographical portion of lower Limestone County, particularly along the eastern shore of Lake Limestone.
