    Our team consists of the Eastlake Volunteer Fire department and the Emergency Services District #1 for Limestone County. All our members are dedicated volunteers that turn our convictions into action to better serve our community.

    Our History

    The Emergency Services District #1 was created to provide fire suppression, fire prevention, first response, rescue and fire education as well as emergency medical services for the residents of the District. 

    The District provides fire and first response emergency medical services to the eastern geographic portion of lower Limestone County

    The Emergency Services District #1 was created to provide fire suppression, fire prevention, first response, rescue and fire education as well as emergency medical services for the residents of the District. 

    The District provides fire and first response emergency medical services to the eastern geographic portion of lower Limestone County, particularly along the eastern shore of Lake Limestone. The ESD #1 was formed in 2012 as a result of a special election held on November 2, 2010 and passed by the residents of the District.
